Coaches and Parents

Why Focus on Coaches and Parents?

Most athletes don't dip their toes into nutrition by talking to a dietitian. More often they ask the authority figures and role models that already play a role in their sport. Coaches, parents, strength trainers all have an opportunity to be the first person to teach an athlete how to view food through the lens of running. While there are situations where a dietitian might know best, your ability to speak on the basics of nutrition greatly benefits your athletes when it comes to both athletic success and life skills.
